“Un altro giro” (“Druk”) è il capolavoro cinematografico del regista danese Thomas Vinterberg. All’inizio del film ho pensato che avrebbe rappresentato e messo a fuoco la cultura alcolica danese, ma la trama mi ha fatto pensare a pensieri sulla filosofia esistenziale trattati in alcune scene del film (soprattutto il finale). Tecnicamente parlando, la cinematografia è stata davvero eccezionale e mi sono piaciuti moltissimo i tagli di ripresa in cui hanno ritratto la bellezza della scenografia. Infine, devo riconoscere la genialità e la bravura dell’intero cast, in particolare Mads Mikkelsen che ha realizzato una splendida performance in cui ha dimostrato ancora una volta di essere uno dei migliori attori della sua generazione.
La scena finale è stata senza dubbio il miglior momento cinematografico del 2020.

“Another Round ” (“Druk“) is a masterpiece by Danish director Thomas Vinterberg. At the beginning of the film I thought it would represent and focus on Danish alcoholic culture, but the intricate plot made me think about thoughts on existential philosophy in some scenes of the film (especially the ending). Technically speaking, the cinematography was really superb and I loved some of the camera angles where they portrayed the beauty of the set design. Finally, I gotta acknowledge the brilliance and cleverness of the whole cast, especially Mads Mikkelsen who delivered a splendid performance where he showed again that he’s one of the best actors of his generation. The ending scene was without any doubts the best movie moment of 2020.
